The contest on Amazon India wants users to select different specs to build their dream smartphone. They can choose a processor, battery, camera and a fingerprint sensor. Xiaomi’s new phablet will be launched in India on March 3, and BGR India has learnt that it will be priced below the Rs 15,000 mark. At this price range, the Redmi Note 3 offers a full-metal body, and a fingerprint sensor placed below the rear camera, which the company says is fast enough to unlock the device in less than a second.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 specifications and features: The phablet features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 650 chipset, 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Xiaomi has launched two variants of the phablet in China. The 16GB variant features 2GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery, while the 32GB variant features 3GB of RAM and a 4,050mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, and 4G LTE support, and on the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop-based MIUI 7.
