In case you are looking to get your hands on the new Xiaomi smartphones, the company will be opening a pre-order window for the Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4A on mi.com today. Xiaomi started the pre-order procedure with the launch of the Redmi Note 4 smartphone, and the company promises that it will ship the orders within five days. The pre-order page on Mi.com also mentions that orders will only be processed with online payments. The option for cash on delivery (COD) is not available yet. There is however an option to cancel your order anytime and get a refund.
Talking about the smartphones, the Redmi Note 4’s most affordable variant is the one with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is priced at Rs 9,999. Then there is the variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage, which retails at Rs 10,999. And the highest variant is the one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, priced at Rs 12,999. The Redmi 4A, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 5,999.
The Redmi Note 4 and the Redmi 4A have been doing well for Xiaomi. The company recently announced that it has sold 250,000 units of Redmi 4A on Amazon and mi.com during its first flash sale, with the e-commerce site witnessing more than 5 million hits per minute. As for the Redmi Note 4, IDC reports that it is the highest selling smartphone in Q1 2017. Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain recently also said that the aim was to sell around 7 million units of the Redmi Note 4 this year. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display. It is powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz and paired with 2GB and 3GB of RAM. The built-in storage on the smartphone can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. It comes with a 13-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture up front. The Xiaomi Redmi 4A features a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display, Snapdragon 425 quad-core chipset, and 2GB of RAM. Also on offer is 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card up to 128GB. It sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with aperture f/2.2 and 5-element lens, with a single LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera up front with an aperture of f/2.2. Apart from the Redmi Note 4 and the Redmi 4A, the company will also be conducting a sale for the latest launched Redmi 4 on May 30. The device was launched in three variants, with the price starting from Rs 6,999. The company announced, that within eight minutes of the sale, Xiaomi managed to sell more than 250,000 units of the smartphone.
