Now, as part of a special sale, the smartphone will be available on Flipkart on June 25 (Sunday) at 12 noon for those who were unable to purchase it in the past. Flipkart reveals that it has sold close to 2 million units of the Redmi Note 4 since its launch in January 2017. It is also a bestseller in the budget smartphone category on the e-commerce platform. In addition to the Redmi Note 4 being available on a Sunday, customers who are able to purchase the device will also be eligible for an additional 20 percent discount on Flipkart Fashion between June 24 to June 26. As per the recent IDC report, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 became the highest shipped smartphone in Q1, 2017. When the smartphone first went on sale, Xiaomi sold a record 250,000 units in just 10 minutes and within 45 days, it sold over a million units. Even as the smartphone is its sixth month of sale, it continues to be a popular choice as it goes out of stock almost as soon as it is made available in the flash sales. The Redmi Note 4 is an improvement over its predecessor Redmi Note 3 and boasts an improved design and better specifications. It is equipped with a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution – something which is seen less often on budget smartphones.
