The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 went on sale today for the first time via Flipkart and mi.com, and expected, the stocks ran out in a matter of minutes. For those who could not grab the Redmi Note 4 in the first go, Xiaomi is conducting a sale again. This time there will be two sales for the Redmi Note 4, the first will take place on Flipkart on January 30 at 12:00PM. The second sale for the Redmi Note 4 will take place on February 3 at 12PM on the company s official website mi.com. On Flipkart, the smartphone is being offered with a few deals which include a five percent discount for Axis Bank Buzz credit card users, and EMIs starting from as low as Rs 631 per month. Xiaomi hasn t confirmed yet, if the matte black edition of the Redmi Note 4 will be available in the upcoming sales. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 in India on January 19, in three variants. The three variants of the Redmi Note 4 start with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage priced at Rs 9,999; 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage at Rs 10,999, and a high-end 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant priced at Rs 12,999.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display with 2.5D Curved Glass on top. Under the hood is Qualcomm s Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz. While the inbuilt storage goes up to 64GB, it can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In the photography department, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with an improved 13-megapixel lens on the rear end. Up front, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Xiaomi reckons that it has worked on improving the rear camera performance when compared to the Redmi Note 3, with a new 13-megapixel CMOS sensor that has 20 percent larger pixels and comes with Phase Detection Auto Focus support.
For power, the Redmi Note 4 uses a 4,100mAh battery, which is a slight upgrade from the 4,050mAh battery in the Redmi Note 3. The Redmi Note 4 also comes with a fingerprint scanner which is located on the back below the camera, just like the Redmi Note 3.
