Xiaomi conducted its weekly flash sale on Flipkart today and just like the previous times, the devices were out of stock in seconds. Manu Jain also revealed that the company has received over 500,000 registration across Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 1S for today s sale. The decision to sell two handsets on the same day comes as a celebratory feat for Xiaomi, who recently announced it sold 1 million smartphones in India in five months. The company has seen many ups and downs in this short span, with the High Court issuing a ban on its handsets sale earlier this month. Later, the ban was partially lifted, allowing Xiaomi to restore its flash sales for devices running on Qualcomm s chipsets.
To recap the specs on Redmi Note 4G, is priced at Rs 9,999. It is similar to the 3G variant, albeit with a couple of differences. The phablet is powered by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 2GB RAM. Connectivity options include single-SIM card slot, and the device supports both FDD-LTE at 1800MHz, and TDD-LTE at 2300MHz.
The phablet also features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 720 pixels) IPS display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 8GB internal storage, microSD card support, and a 3,100mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android KitKat wrapped under MIUI 5.
