In what seems to be a celebration for the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2015, the Redmi Note 4G will be available from today onwards without registrations. There is no word on how many units are available for buyers, but the company has said that they have “sufficient stock.” At the time of filing the story, the phablet was still available on Flipkart, and you can add it to your shopping carts.
This isn’t the first time Xiaomi is selling the Redmi Note 4G without the need for registrations. Towards the end of last month on Republic Day, the Chinese company had scheduled a similar open sale.
Xiaomi has been selling the Redmi Note 4G via Flipkart as well as offline via Airtel’s stores. To recap, the LTE-capable phablet is priced at Rs 9,999. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 2GB RAM.
It also features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 8GB internal storage, microSD card support, and a 3,100mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android KitKat wrapped under MIUI 5. Connectivity options include 4G connectivity, single-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
