In addition to the Redmi Note that goes on sale on December 2, Xiaomi is also launching the 4G variant of the phablet in India. Just like the 3G variant of the Redmi Note, the 4G variant too will be available on Flipkart. Additionally it will also be sold by Airtel. The network operator will sell the smartphone via its flagship stores across six cities, making it Xiaomi’s first foray into offline retail in India. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 4G is similar to the 3G variant except a few details. Unlike the 3G variant, the Redmi Note 4G is powered by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 2GB RAM. Connectivity options include single-SIM card slot, and supports both FDD-LTE at 1800MHz, and TDD-LTE at 2300MHz.
The rest of the specifications remain the same. So essentially it features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 8GB internal storage, microSD card support, and a 3,100mAh battery.
