Believed to be a much powerful variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the Redmi Note 4X has been rumored for a few days. And now, fuelling the fire is the TENAA certification that reveals some substantial details about the smartphone. The TENAA listing reveals that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will be equipped with 4GB of RAM along with 32GB and 64GB storage options. Also, the certification agency images show that the Redmi Note 4X would look very similarly to the Redmi Note 4. The similarities continue on the inside, too, with the Redmi Note 4X powered by Mediatek Helio X20 chip, 13-megapixel primary camera and a 4,100mAh battery. Some are also betting that the Redmi Note 4X will also come in a variant with Snapdragon 653 chipset. Earlier techupdate3 reported the Redmi Note 4X will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The report suggests the smartphone may come with 64GB of internal storage, as opposed to today s leak which suggests two variant with 32GB and 64GB onboard storage.
Additionally, yesterday, there was also a purported leaked image of the Redmi Note 4X that surfaced on the web. The leak shows the About Phone section of the handset, confirming the specs that have been rumored so far. The leaked image also revealed that the Redmi Note 4X would come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory. It also shows that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 653 chipset. The latest information comes days after Xiaomi confirmed its participation at the CES 2017, which is slated to begin on January 4. The Redmi 4X may debut as part of Xiaomi s new product range showcased at the event. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also rumored to launch the Redmi Note 4 in India as early as January next year. Though, the company hasn t confirmed a launch date as yet.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 1080 pixels) display. On the photography front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF support. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens. Armed with a 4,100mAh battery the smartphone comes with connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots (hybrid setup), 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In terms of price, the smartphone comes in two variants, a 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM, and a 64GB variant with 3GB of RAM. The base variant is priced at RMB 899, which is roughly around Rs 9,000, while the 64GB variant is priced at RMB 1,199, which is Rs 12,000 approximately.
