A new Xiaomi smartphone launch is approaching, and it could be the Redmi Note 5. Successor to the popular Redmi Note 4, this upcoming smartphone has been leaked numerous times, and even spotted on retailer website JD.com. While we are still waiting for an official launch, the smartphone has yet again been spotted on another retailer website. The Redmi Note 5 spotted on Oppomart (via SlashLeaks) sports a large display as rumored, but is slightly different than its past leaked renders. There are almost no bezels on the sides with very thin ones on top and bottom. Like other Redmi smartphones, the bottom bezel houses the three capacitive touch buttons. At the rear there’s a single camera with LED flash, and the fingerprint sensor below. There are two very visible antenna lines running along the top and bottom.
In line with previous leaks, the Redmi Note 5 is seen sporting a dual-camera setup at the back. Surprisingly that is not the case with this listing. Moving on, the listing also reveals alleged specifications of the smartphone. The Redmi Note 5 is said to feature a 5.99-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, and is likely to come in two variants 32GB storage with 3GB RAM, and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM.
