Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro to be available at Rs 12,999 during Flipkart Big Billion Days sale

Xiaomi’s popular Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone is receiving a tempting Rs 2,000 discount.

The days of massive smartphone discounts are upon us. Every minute now we are coming across discounts or deals being offered by various companies on different e-commerce portals. Joining in on this celebrations is Xiaomi.

After announcing a massive Rs 7,000 discount on its bezel-less Mi MIX 2, now it has turned its attention to the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro. The smartphone is receiving a Rs 2,000 discount, and will be available for Rs 12,999 during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is already considered among the best smartphones in its segment, and the discount only makes it a more tempting buy. Besides the discount, buyers will also be able to avail an additional 10 percent discount when using HDFC Bank debit or credit cards.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro specifications, features

To quickly recap, the Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched earlier this year. It comes with features like 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160×1080 pixels) display and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB internal memory. This built-in storage can be expanded using a microSD card.

For photography, the device is equipped with a dual-camera setup at the back. This setup comprises of a 12-megapixel primary sensor, and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 20-megapixel snapper up front.

The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor for security, 4,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. On the software front, the device was launched with Android Oreo-based MIUI 9. But it has since been updated to the latest MIUI 10.
