The smartphone is priced at Rs 14,999 for the base variant with 4GB of RAM, whereas the higher variant with 6GB of RAM will set you back by Rs 16,999. Flipkart is also offering exchange discount of up to Rs 12,000 on exchanging your old smartphone, which can further bring down the cost of base variant to a mere Rs 2,999. Buyers can also take advantage of EMI options that are on offer.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, or 6GB RAM with 64GB storage depending on the variant you choose.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features dual rear cameras with primary 12-megapixel sensor and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor for capturing depth and adding bokeh effect to your pictures. It also gets a better 20-megapixel selfie camera with dedicated flash that also enables facial unlock mechanism. Armed with a 4,000mAh battery, the smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 interface, and Android Oreo update with MIUI 10 is due to rollout in a few weeks.
