Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro users should check their phones for a notification on a new update. The company has started rolling out MIUI 10 OTA update for users in India.
Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 10.0.1.0.OEIMIFH update for Redmi Note 5 Pro users in India. The update is about 580MB in size, and it brings in the September Android security patch along with a bunch of new features. The new features and changes brought in by the update include full-screen gestures the change the way you interact with your device and lets the content take the front stage. Others include redesigned Notification Panel, redesigned volume sliders, improved multitasking management, and natural sound system among many others.
Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro earlier this year running Android Nougat-based MIUI 9.2. Back in June, the company rolled out Android Oreo-based MIUI 9.5 for the smartphone. Now, the Redmi Note 5 Pro becomes the second device after the Redmi Y2 to receive the MIUI 10 update.

Last week, Xiaomi rolled out MIUI 10 update for the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro smartphones in China. We can expect the update to be rolled out for users in India in the coming weeks. As per XDA-Developers, the MIUI 10 global stable ROM is being rolled out for a few other smartphones including Mi 5, Mi 6, Mi MIX, Mi MIX 2, and the Mi Note 2.
