Xiaomi earlier in the year launched its Redmi 6 series of smartphones, which included the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro. However, for the last few days, the Chinese smartphone company has been rumored to add another smartphone to the series, which will be the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and will likely be dubbed as Redmi Note 6 Pro. The smartphone was spotted on benchmarking websites a few days ago and now more leaks are giving us further insight on it.
According to a tweet posted by the famous tipster Roland Quandt, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB RAM and storage variants. This was something the previous leak had touted as well. Along with that, the tipster also mentions the device to be priced at around 200-250 Euros, which roughly translates to Rs 16,400 to Rs 20,500. However, the tweet suggests the smartphone to be cheaper in other markets. Roland’s tweet also mentions the smartphone to be available in many color options. Previously, the smartphone had been suggested to come in Gold, Blue, Pink, Black and Red color variants.

Talking about previous rumors, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 is not expected to be a big upgrade over its predecessor but is said to come with some trendier features. The smartphone is likely to feature a 5.45-inch notched display this time, with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. On the software front, Android 8.1 Oreo is expected, with MIUI 10 on top.

While a specific date isn’t mentioned, Xiaomi is expected to launch the smartphone soon. We’ll update the space the moment we have more information on it.
