The upcoming Redmi Note 6 Pro, the higher-end model in the Redmi Note 6 series, has been listed for sale with full specifications, images and pricing. Interestingly, the device listed on the platform is global version that is said to support over 70 languages. It also comes bundled with all Google services and supports OTA updates. It is not clear how Xiaomi allowed for such a big slip-up where the device is listed even before its official availability. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro: Specifications as per listing
The listing reveals that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC same as the one found on existing Redmi Note 5 Pro. This contradicts previous reports which tipped at Xiaomi switching to Snapdragon 660 SoC for the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The model listed on AliExpress comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and support for microSD expansion slot.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch display with a notch and the specification sheet wrongly claims the resolution to be 2160 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone with notched display is expected to support a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19:9. The listing also confirms that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will come with four cameras, two on the front and two on the rear.

At the front, it will use a combination of 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel camera setup while the rear camera setup will use the same 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel combination also found on existing model. The Redmi Note 6 Pro runs Android Oreo with MIUI 9 on top and it packs a 4,000mAh battery. The disappointment is that it sticks with microUSB port for charging, which seems outdated by industry standard. In terms of price, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is listed with a retail price of around $200 (approximately Rs 14,500). The smartphone will be available in black, blue, rose gold and red color.
