Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S: What to expect
The product is being teased by the official Facebook pages of both Xiaomi Malaysia and Xiaomi Pakistan. The device has a single-core score of 571 points and multi-core score of 1,780. This Geekbench score is identical to that of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, which launched last week in India. It will be paired with an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Also Read - Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Review: Best smartphone under Rs 15,000?
At the front, we should see a 6.67-inch display with punch-hole design. The punch-hole will house a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. It is still not clear whether Xiaomi plans to introduce the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in those markets as well. The Chinese smartphone maker is already the leader in India and is now looking to strengthen its base in other Asian markets. With Redmi Note’s success, the company has a clearly shot at becoming leader in these markets.
