As promised, registrations for Xiaomi Redmi Note sale on December 2 went live on Flipkart at 6:00PM. However, even though the register button has now been made live, the website crashes the moment you press the button. Update: The registration page is now working, after showing error messages for about 20-odd minutes. Also Read - Best laptops under Rs 40,000 in July 2021: Mi Notebook 14, Asus VivoBook 14, and more
While it is not new for Flipkart to crash on sale days due to heavy traffic, this time it seems they are not able to handle demand from people who want to just register to participate in the sale. The moment a person clicks on the register button, the site throws up an error message- “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” Also Read - RedmiBook laptop launching on August 3, Mi Notebook-like design and colours teased
Unsurprisingly, users took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
