The Redmi Note still needs to be launched in India, with Hugo Barra confirming that it should arrive in the next two months. But that hasn’t stopped its successor to leak online. The leakster also gave away some details like the measurements of the back panel, which measure 159x 82 mm, up from 154×78.7mm on the current model. Additionally, the leakster says that Redmi Note 2 will reportedly feature a 5.5-inch display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 615 Cortex-A53 64-bit octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The device will also sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera along with a rumored dual-LED flash. The leak further states that the device will be priced around $244 (Rs 15,200 approximately). Meanwhile, the Redmi Note was announced in India for Rs 9,999. It sports a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, 1.7GHz Mediatek’s MT6592 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, 3,100mAh battery and 13-megapixel rear/5-megapixel front cameras.
