Xiaomi Redmi Y2 launched in India
Xiaomi has finally launched the much-anticipated Redmi Y2 in India. The company launched two variants of the phone. The base variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage and is priced at Rs 9,999, while the top-end variant carries 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage and priced at Rs 12,999. The phone comes in three colors – Dark Grey, Rose Gold, and Gold, and will be available via Amazon India, mi.com, and Mi Home stores, starting June 12.
OnePlus 6 update
OnePlus 6 today received a software update that brings in a bokeh mode to the selfie camera, and shows battery percentage on the status bar. Both features were promised by the company couple a days ago and it s good to see it deliver on that promise.
Apple takes down watchOS 5 beta
Apple announced watchOS 5 at its WWDC 2018 event. However, soon after the beta version went live for download, a number of Apple Watch users reported issues with the installation process. Most users complained about download failing completely, while others ran into errors when updating their Apple Watch to watchOS 5. After considering the problem, the company pulled down the watchOS 5 beta. It also replaced the download section with a Coming Soon message.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 and Snapdragon 439 leaked
Qualcomm is reported to be working on two new entry-level smartphone processors called Snapdragon 429 and Snapdragon 439. It looks like the processors are being developed for affordable smartphones that will be running Android GO operating systems. While details are scarce, both chipsets are expected to be substantial upgrades over the current Snapdragon 425/427, and Snapdragon 435.
Google Pixel 3 spotted
Google Pixel 3 XL has been spotted on an AOSP commits with a codename called Blueline . But that s not the only phone. Another device codenamed Crosshatch has also been spotted, which is likely to be Pixel 3.

Google provides free Wi-Fi access to 400 railway stations
Google, in collaboration with RailTel, has now provided free Wi-Fi internet in 400 stations across India. The company finished that project recently by setting up Wi-Fi at Dibrugarh station in Assam, which was the last station on its roadmap. With all the 400 stations setup, the company now provides 8 million people with free internet across the country.
