Xiaomi Redmi Y2, the second-generation selfie-centric smartphone, and Mi TV will go on another flash sale today. Xiaomi’s industry disrupting Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A will also be up for grabs at 12:00PM today. The Redmi Y2 will be available via and Amazon India, while the Mi TV sale is being held on and Flipkart.

Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Y2 for those looking to buy a premium selfie experience in India last month. The Mi TV series made its India debut in March alongside company’s best-selling Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, and has been available on sale for sometime now. To recall, the Redmi Y2 is the successor to last year’s Redmi Y1, and it brings an updated selfie camera that rivals the likes of Oppo and Vivo. The Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A, on the other hand, offer flagship design and smart features, at a price that is relatively unheard of in the Indian market. Here is everything you need to know about the sale.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 price, offers

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 starts at Rs 9,999 for the base model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The company also offers a variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at Rs 12,999. Those purchasing the smartphone online will get Rs 1,800 instant cashback from Airtel, and up to 240GB data for free.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 looks like any other smartphone from the company in the past few months. It features a metal unibody design with a taller display and dual rear camera setup that is positioned exactly like the one seen on Redmi Note 5 Pro. It gets a 5.99-inch HD+ display with resolution of 1440×720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, the chipset widely preferred by Xiaomi, and can be paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage.

On the camera front, the Redmi Y2 is equipped with dual camera setup comprising of a 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel image sensors. At the front, Xiaomi is using a 16-megapixel sensor with AI beautification mode, support for HDR, and LED flash. Like the Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Y2 also supports face unlock along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB port, and 4G LTE.

The Redmi Y2 runs MIUI 9.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and is slated to receive MIUI 10 update later this year. The selfie-centric smartphone packs a 3,080mAh battery, and can be purchased in grey, gold and rose gold colors.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4, Mi TV 4A price and offers

Xiaomi currently sells three different TV models in the country and Mi TV 4 is the most premium offering in its lineup. It is priced at Rs 44,999 while the 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A models are priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 22,999 respectively. All the three TV models are available with extra five percent discount for Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card users, and can also be purchased with EMI options. On, Xiaomi is offering three months high-speed broadband for free on select terms plans from ACT Fibernet.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4, Mi TV 4A specifications and features

The Mi TV 4 features a 55-inch 4K HDR display with 60Hz refresh rate, and is being touted as the slimmest TV in the market. The TV is powered by a quad-core Amlogic CPU, and comes bundled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The TV weighs around 17.8 kilograms including the base and supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, RJ-45 for Ethernet connection, one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, three HDMI ports, one AV and S/PDIF ports. It comes with one year product warranty and additional one year for the panel.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4A, on the other hand, can be dubbed as the real disruptor in the TV segment. It comes in two models offering 32-inch and 43-inch displays. The 32-inch model offers a 720p HD panel while the 43-inch model offers a higher resolution 1080p panel. Both the models are powered by a quad-core Amlogic CPU coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage.

The 32-inch model offers two USB ports while the 43-inch model includes three USB ports. Both the models are equipped with three HDMI ports, Ethernet port, earphone out and AV port. The Mi TV 4A models include Wi-Fi support but lack Bluetooth for wireless audio. The 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A weigh 4kg and 7.5kKg respectively, and include dual 10W speakers.
