Earlier today, Xiaomi also registered a record-breaking revenue of Rs 5 crore in 12 hours in its offline sales held on May 20. The company said that at Mi Home store saw over 10,000 footfalls and smartphones like the Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, and Redmi Note 4 were the major contributors in the sale.

All three Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 are essentially the same, with the one difference being based on their RAM and storage..Other than the aforementioned 2GB and 3GB RAM variants, the third model, which is yet to be made available in India, comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Other than that, all the variants remain identical with a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display with 296ppi and wrapped under a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood is Qualcomm s Snapdragon 435 octa-core chipset. For photography, the Redmi 4 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) support. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor placed at the back, and is fuelled by a 4,100mAh battery that is good enough to last more than a day on a single charge. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots (hybrid setup), 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. On the software front, the device runs on Android Marshmallow wrapped under MIUI 8 out-of-the-box.
