Spotted by Gizmochina, the teaser video reveals that the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 800-series SoC. If we were to hazard a guess, it is likely that the smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC. The 13-second teaser also reveals that the device will come with a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. This contradicts previous rumors that suggest that the Mi 6 Plus will be armed with a 4,500mAh battery.
Other features briefly mentioned in Xiaomi s promotional video include an infrared (IR) blaster, NFC support, 4G connectivity, and a USB Type-C port. The teaser video also mentions that the smartphone will be covered in 3D glass and at the rear, the smartphone will sport a 22-megapixel camera module with 4K photo and video support. The teaser ends with a date, suggesting that the product will be unveiled on July 11. The smartphone was earlier expected to launch on April 19, which clearly did not happen.
