The company s service centers are based on B2X Smartbar, an in-store service solution for support and service of smartphones and accessories, be it in warranty or out-of-warranty. All the repairs and services are performed by certified service engineers. The solution offered by B2X is completely integrated with its Smartcare Technology platform. One of the key highlights of the platform is the end-to-end service process. It offers real-time visibility on all service interactions – right from the moment when customer enters the store till the time the device is repaired and handed back to the customer. Last year, Xiaomi also entered into a partnership with HCL Care Services for exclusive Experience Service Centers (ESCs) to serve Tier-I and Tier-II cities across India. Since entering Indian smartphone space in 2014, Xiaomi has managed to become the No 4 smartphone manufacturer, with a market share of 7.4 percent. The company s entry-level and mid-range smartphones have been doing really well in India, and it makes perfect sense for Xiaomi expand its after sales service as it continues to grow.
