The Mi Note and the Mi Note Pro are just hot out of the oven, and already reports of Xiaomi planning another unveil are coming in. Gizchina reports that the company’s gaming division has teased a product launch, hinting at a gaming related device unveil. This makes sense as China, just last year, pulled back the ban on home gaming machines. So far, Xiaomi has forayed into the gaming space with a game controller and game support for their smart TVs and Android set top boxes. Just on January 15, as mentioned above, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, the Mi Box and the Mi headphones. The Mi Note specs fall in the same segment as the Galaxy Note 4 and the iPhone 6 Plus.

As far as India is concerned, Xiaomi is gearing up to release its last year’s flasghip Mi 4 in India on January 28. To recap, the Xiaomi Mi 4 was unveiled in July last year. Specifications wise, the former flagship device flaunts a 5-inch full HD 1080p display, and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Also included is 16GB internal storage.
The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,080mAh battery that the company claims can survive for a day and half on normal usage. It also claims that the battery can be charged up to 60 percent in just an hour.
