If recent rumors are taken into consideration, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a high-end Mi Note 2 phablet and two affordable Redmi smartphones. Just yesterday Xiaomi released a teaser, which is the best hint yet at the upcoming Mi Note 2. Now, Xiaomi co-founder Liwan Jiang has let slip that the company is set to launch its most expensive smartphone till date, priced at 4,000 Yuan or Rs 40,400 approximately, reports GizmoChina. Jiang says that this high-end smartphone will be launched this year, and it won’t compromise on any front. Apart from the best quality, it will also offer top-of-the-line specification and features. While there is no word on what device it could be, there are rumors about a Mi Note 2 variant with Samsung Galaxy S7 edge-like curved display. This variant is also expected to feature 128GB storage, and 6GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specifications, features: The Mi Note 2 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 1440 pixels) display, Qualcomm s Snapdragon 820 processor, 16-megapixel rear camera, 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, and connectivity options like ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, NFC and 4G support. The phablet could be available in two variants 32GB variant with 4GB RAM, and 64GB variant with 6GB RAM.
With Xiaomi releasing teasers, and the number of reports we have come across recently, it seems like the Mi Note 2 could be launched sooner than later.
