Both smartphones are listed with model numbers 2,016,020 and 2,016,021. Unfortunately that’s about all that is known about the two devices, except that they will be bundled with a 5V/2A charger. Despite the apparent lack of details, speculations are afloat that the listed smartphones are a part of Xiaomi’s affordable Redmi series. We would however ask you to take it with a pinch of salt.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 3s smartphone last month in China. It is available in two variants — 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset, and 2GB of RAM. The Redmi 3s also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 4,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, and 4G LTE support.
The Redmi 3X too comes with the same set of specifications and features. The difference though is that the Redmi 3s (2GB) variant comes with a 4,000mAh battery, while the Redmi 3X (2GB) comes with a slightly bigger 4,100mAh battery.
