Xiaomi has added another interesting product to its crowdfunding platform. Called Yeelight LED Ceiling Lamp Pro, this IoT product is priced at RMB 799 (approximately Rs 8,300), and will be going on sale in China from July 30. As with most of Xiaomi’s smart products, it is highly unlikely that the light will make it to India.
As the name makes it pretty clear, the Yeelight LED Ceiling Lamp Pro is a light that you attach to a room’s ceiling. The lamp features dimensions of 960x640mm, and is meant for rooms with 25-35 square meter area, Gizmochina reports. The aluminum alloy frame makes it light enough to be carried around during shifting.
The smart lamp features a white coating, and can offer light with brightness up to 6,000 Lumen. Though it offers white light by default, you can change the colors as well as the light temperature using the companion app on your smartphone. The lamp was a color rendering index (CRI) of 95, which makes it possible to show a high degree of color hues. Lastly, the lamp also has an insect-proof shield, which prevents insects from crawling inside and affecting the internals.
Being a smart lamp, the Yeelight LED Ceiling Lamp Pro can be controlled using the companion app. It connects to mobile devices using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Additionally, users in China will also be able to control the lamp via the smart Mi AI speaker.
