Xiaomi might be ready with another wireless charging pad of its own – the Mi wireless charger 2. The first Mi wireless charger by Xiaomi launched alongside the bezel-less Mi Mix 2S. Now, probably the second wireless charging pad is on its way with the Qi wireless specifications, as it has been certified by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). The WPC website listed the wireless charger yesterday, and already has its Qi registration ID. It even has a picture of the charging pad, and the design appears different from the predecessor. It has the same green LED in front, but the color is different from one that came with the Mi MIX 2S. Also Read - Xiaomi is hiding the front camera on its next Mi flagship smartphone
The listing was first spotted by popular tipster Roland Quandt. We are not sure of the release of Mi wireless charger 2, but going by Xiaomi’s previous launch, it might also come with their premium successor the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, later this year.
About the Mi Mix 3, the leaked live image of the prototype suggested that it will be truly-bezel less smartphone like the Vivo NEX. Xiaomi is likely to get rid of the bottom chin as well, although it will be interesting to see how they place the camera and other important sensors.

On the Mi MIX 2S, the selfie camera was placed on the bottom chin. But the leaked prototype image of Mi MIX 3 didn’t show any camera module or a notch.
