The TwentySeventeen Light isn t exactly manufactured by Xiaomi, but by Shenzhen Micro-intelligence Co. Ltd. As is the case with mechanical wristwatches, it draws its power from kinetic energy, so no batteries are needed. However, it needs to be manually wound if left unused for a while, to provide initial kinetic energy.
Xiaomi s TwentySeventeen Light uses a Sapphire crystal that s both wear and scratch resistant. It s made from a blue-coating process that prevents glare and fingerprints. The watch is available in two dial colors white and black and the dial has a date window as well. There are two strap colors too black and brown. The wristwatch has an exhibition caseback, so you can see the movement in action.
The mechanical wristwatch is water-resistant up to 5ATM, which means you don t really have to worry about a little rain or splash causing it any trouble.
