As expected, Xolo today launched the 8X-1000 smartphone running on the company s custom UI called HIVE. The talking point on the smartphone is Xolo s HIVE UI, which not only introduces a flatter and minimalistic look, but also introduces a unique feature called Connect. This feature essentially lets users interact with the company s developers to give them feedback as well as request new features for their smartphone. As far as specifications of the Xolo 8X-1000 is concerned, it flaunts a 5-inch HD display with Asahi Dragontrail glass, while the back too boasts a glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
It also features an 8-megapixel rear camera with Exmor R sensor, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
