In July, Xolo launched its sub-brand called Black, and nearly four months it is finally ready to launch its second smartphone in the series. The forthcoming smartphone is called the Black 1X and will launch in India on October 28. Similar to the Xolo Black, the Black 1X is also likely to go on sale exclusively via Flipkart. Xolo is hosting a virtual event on Twitter and will also take question and answers on Periscope. This is similar to what it did when launching the Omega 5.0 and Omega 5.5 last year. While the company is keeping the details under wraps, a listing on GfxBench has revealed most of the specifications and features for the forthcoming smartphone.
Xolo Black 1X specifications and features: The smartphone is said to flaunt a 4.6-inch 1080p display and will be powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU, and 3GB of RAM.
It is also said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 32GB internal storage, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, and 4G support. On the software front, it is expected to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Xolo Black specifications and features: In comparison, the Xolo Black featured a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core chipset paired with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
It also features 16GB internal storage, dual-camera setup with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 3,200mAh battery, and runs on Hive UI based on Android Lollipop.
