On Saturday, Xolo announced its first ever Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone called the Win Q900s, which it will launch in July. Now, the Indian smartphone vendor seems to be working on a flagship Android smartphone that will feature an all-new UI called Xolo Hive, GSMArena reports.
The publication cites a source involved in the development, who claims that the Xolo Hive UI will boast a unique interactive feature. This feature will essentially let you interact with the company’s developers to give them feedback as well as request new features for their smartphone.
As for the design, the UI will feature an updated set of icons, a new control panel and a dedicated media console among others. The company is also said to be currently working with a host of designers to create themes for its new UI. Also included will be a new store, where users will be able to download exclusive content.
As far as the specifications for the flagship device is concerned, the publication claims that the smartphone will feature a 5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and will be powered by an octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Xolo is expected to launch this smartphone sometime in July.
The Xolo Win Q900s announced this weekend, is the company’s first ever Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone. Earlier this year, Microsoft had revealed the Indian smartphone vendor as one of its hardware partners. The smartphone features a 4.7-inch HD display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras, and a 1,800mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 11,999 and will launch next month.
