We have seen an increasing number of LTE-capable smartphones launching in India in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment, and the latest is Xolo. The Indian smartphone vendor today launched the LT2000, and it will be up against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and Yu Yureka. Xolo LT2000 and the Redmi Note 4G both are priced at Rs 9,999 whereas the Yu Yureka retails at Rs 8,999. Of the three, the Yureka is the most difficult to get since it is still available via flash sales. All the three smartphones in this comparo come with an identical 5.5-inch display set at a resolution of 720p. As expected even the pixel density is same at 267ppi.
Processor and RAM
The LT2000 is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 64-bit capability paired with 1GB of RAM. The Redmi Note 4G is powered by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The Yureka, on the other hand, is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
Both the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and the YU Yureka feature a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Xolo LT2000 is equipped with an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
The Yureka boasts 16GB of onboard memory along with an expandable microSD slot that can accommodate another 32GB. Redmi Note 4G and Xolo LT2000 both feature an 8GB of internal memory along with an expandable memory card slot.
Xolo LT2000 comes equipped with a 2,920mAh battery, which according to the manufacturer can easily suffice an entire day of usage. Yu Yureka falls short of expectations due to the 2,500mAh battery that struggles to survive an entire day of usage. Redmi Note 4G comes with the largest battery at 3,100mAh and will easily last for two days of mixed usage.
Yu Yureka as we are well aware runs on CM OS 11 based on Android Kitkat 4.4 and it is soon expected to get a CM OS 12 based on Android Lollipop 5.0 update. Redmi Note 4G runs on Android KitKat 4.4 wrapped in the MIUI 6. Xolo LT2000 currently runs on Android KitKat, and it too will soon be upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop.
