Xolo has today launched a LTE-capable smartphone called the LT2000. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 and is available via Indian e-commerce sites.
As far as specifications are concerned, the LT2000 flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display with scratch resistant Dragontrail Glass, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 64-bit capability and paired with 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone also features 8GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card, and on the photography front, it features an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with Sony’s BSI 2 sensor, supplemented by a 2-megapixel camera up front. Also included is a 2,920mAh battery.
One of the talking points however is the support for LTE networks, including TDD and FDD LTE networks. Other connectivity options include dual-SIM (4G+2G) card slots, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, and the company has promised that it is upgradeable to Android Lollipop.
At this price point, the Xolo LT2000 will be up against other LTE-capable smartphones like the Yu Yureka, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G among others.
