Yahoo India has revamped its homepage, which now dons an all new design with an intuitive interface and is available across smartphones, tablets and PCs. This redesigned homepage brings along a new set of features including simpler navigation, endless scrolling and more. Also Read - Yahoo Groups to shut down from December 15
The new homepage comes with a cleaner design which is easy to navigate and is more intuitive. Yahoo has introduced a new look for headlines, which come with summaries in an easy to read snapshot, and makes it easy to browse top stories. The interesting part is that it now supports endless stream of content. Moreover, a user can browse the content as per their convenience, save a story for reading it later or can even delete it from their view. To do so, a user can simply move the cursor to the right of a story and chose ‘Y’ to save it or ‘X’ to delete it.
The homepage also comes with search box and quick links to Yahoo properties like earlier, and offer Today Module in a larger view than earlier. Some of the new utility apps include Yahoo Weather, Finance, Flickr that’s available right on the homepage and can be customized as well. A user can also integrate Facebook to see their friend’s upcoming birthdays, right on their homepage.
This new homepage design is in line with Yahoo’s US page. Apart from India, the new homepage is launched in 5 other countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
