This means that from June 30 onwards, Flickr users will have to access the service by using existing or new Yahoo accounts. Those with an existing Yahoo account will have to connect their accounts to the photo sharing service Flickr, which was acquired by the company in 2005.
However, with this news, it is clear that Marissa Mayer is taking another step forward to promote Yahoo s own service by using Flickr s popularity amongst users by making it mandatory for them to access the photo sharing service using Yahoo only.
