Hours after a woman went on a shooting spree at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno in California, Google CEO Sundar Pichai sent an email to employees describing his shock at the incident. In his email to employees, Google CEO Sundar Pichai calls the shooting incident at the headquarters as an “unimaginable tragedy”. In his email, he reveals that four people have been injured in the “horrific act of violence”. Following the shooting incident, major tech executives from Twitter and Uber have called for gun control. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey posted a tweet calling on a change in policies. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi reiterated the need to end gun violence.
According to the latest report on CNN, the woman who shot multiple people has been identified as Nasim Aghdam. She took her own life after the shooting through a handgun. San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini said that the shooter’s motive was unclear and that whether it was a domestic violence incident remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, the three people who were shot at include a 36-year-old man, who is in a critical condition, a 32-year-old woman who is in a serious condition, and a 27-year-old woman who is in a fair condition. A fourth victim reportedly was injured as people scrambled off the patio outside the cafe.
