Lately YouTube has releases a lot of new feature for iOS users. The last update let you watch videos in 1440p resolution on 4.7-inch iPhones and higher resolution on bigger iPhones. The latest update to YouTube for iOS focuses on giving more controls while casting videos from the app. Now, you can rewind, forward and even pause the video from the locked screen of your iPhone while casing videos to a bigger screen through Chromecast. The update version 12.03 is however not only limited to Chromecast and hence is applicable to smart TVs, gaming consoles, or any other devices that are connected to the YouTube app via iPhones. YouTube has also rolled out a similar update for Apple Watch users. Android users have been enjoying the feature for a pretty long time now and hence this was one of the most sought after feature for iPhone users.

Based on user s preferred Indian language YouTube will display more content in that particular language. As of now, YouTube offers content in Indian languages like Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. The language preference of a user is based on a combination of user interface language, watch history, and a user s location.
