YU, the new smartphone brand from the promoters of Micromax teased their upcoming “Project Caesar” smartphone via Twitter and took potshots at its rival Xiaomi at the same time. While teasing Project Caesar, YU also took a dig at Xiaomi and its smartphones still based on Android KitKat. The tweet was accompanied by a photo, that asks “KitKat in the age of Lolipop? Give Me a break!” Interestingly, the ‘M’ in Me has been borrowed from Xiaomi’s logo.
There is not much known about the specifications of the new smartphone codenamed Project Caesar apart from the fact it would run on Cyanogen OS 12 on top of Android Lolipop. We had earlier reported that even YU’s first smartphone, Yureka, will be getting updated to Android Lollipop with Cyanogen OS 12.
