Micromax s sub-brand Yu is back with a new smartphone. Called the Yureka Black , the smartphone brings improved features and specifications under the hood compared to the Yureka smartphone launched in 2015. The Yu Yureka Black is priced at Rs 8,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Users can pre-register for the device on Yu s official website and the sales will begin from June 6 midnight. All the other phones in the comparison here are already available at retailers and e-commerce portals. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is priced at Rs 6,999 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 10,999 for the top model. The Yu Yureka Black features a 5-inch full HD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layered above for protection. In comparison, both the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Lenovo K6 Power also feature a 5-inch display with full HD (1080p) resolution. The Moto G4 Play, on the other hand, features a 5-inch HD display. Processor, RAM and Storage
The Yu Yureka Black is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 runs Snapdragon 435 octa-core 1.4GHz chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage while the Lenovo K6 Power is also equipped with the Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The Moto G4 Play runs Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. All the smartphones support microSD card for storage expansion up to 128GB. Going purely by the RAM and storage on offer, the Yu Yureka Black stands out for offering 4GB of RAM along with 32GB of default storage.

Yu Yureka Black sports a 13-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The company has added flash support on both sides for enhanced output even in low-lit conditions. The Xiaomi Redmi 4, on the other hand, features a 13-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel camera up front. The Lenovo K6 Power is also equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera, however, it uses a Sony IMX258 and Sony IMX219 sensor for both ends respectively. In comparison, the Moto G4 Play features an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture along with a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Battery and Connectivity
Yu Yureka Black is fuelled with a 3,000mAh battery. For connectivity, it features a front fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE support, and dual-SIM support via hybrid slot. The Xiaomi Redmi 4, on the other hand, is powered by a 4,100mAh battery while the Lenovo K6 Power is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery. Both the smartphones feature fingerprint sensors.
In comparison, the Moto G4 Play stands in poor light with its 2,800mAh battery and absence of a fingerprint sensor. Other connectivity options across the competitors include dual SIM support, microSD card support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS support.
