Today, Sharma has announced that the update has started rolling out, and will arrive on smartphones in phases over the next three days, and has also shared a few screenshots. Last month, Yu first announced that it would soon be releasing the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, and recently started beta testing the Cyanogen OS 12 ROM. The update brings with it features like performance improvements, priority notifications, extra themes, new Cyanogen email powered by Boxer, improved privacy, and keyboard support for Indian regional languages among others.
Yu will also be launching its next smartphone called Yuphoria. Yu has teased the smartphone hinting that it will feature a 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory, and run on CM OS 12 based on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
