Yu has just announced that it will sell its 4G-enabled Yureka on Amazon India without the registration model. The company will make the Yureka available on the ecommerce site on May 6 and May 7 freely. This means that interested buyers can just head over to the website at 10.00AM on may 6, and make the purchase without worrying about registrations or the device going out of stock. To recap, the Yureka is priced at Rs 8,999 and flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 64-bit capability and paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also features 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card.
Furthermore, the smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,500mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Cyanogen OS 11 based on Android KitKat. However, the company has rolled out the CM OS 12 update based on Android Lollipop to all Yureka users.
