ZTE today unveiled its latest smartphone in the Blade series- the Blade S7. The smartphone was launched in Shanghai. The company has not yet revealed the pricing of the smartphone. However, ZTE has confirmed that the smartphone will go on sale in Thailand first and followed by other Asia-Pacific markets. The ZTE Blade S7 features a 13-megapixel rear as well as front facing cameras. Along with the camera, the Blade S7 also features some gesture controls, some of them being – shaking the smartphone to activate and deactivate the flashlight and gestures such as a ‘V’ to start music playing and ‘O’ to stop it, among others. ZTE Blade S7 specifications and features: It features a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS display with 445ppi pixel density. The smartphone comes with an aluminum alloy frame and sports a 72.1 percent screen-to-body ratio and Gorilla Glass 3 glass on both front and back. It comes with 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 3GB of DDR3 RAM, and comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage. As mentioned earlier, the rear and front camera features 13-megapixel sensors, and are both accompanied by LED flash. The 13-megapixel front-facing camera comes with phase detection auto-focus, panorama, and also gives users support to 14 different beautification options. Talking about the rear camera, it comes with auto shooting modes, selective focus, and laser auto focus.
On the software front it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop which is customized with MiFavor 3.2 UI on the top.The 4G-enabled smartphone bears the usual connectivity options, and is 7.2mm thick.
