Yesterday, ZTE announced two of its 3G data cards in India, and a day after ZTE has announced the ZTE GEEK, which is its first phablet to feature Intel s Clover Trail+ processor at the ongoing Intel Developer Forum (IDF) Spring 2013 in Beijing. When it comes to features, the phablet comes equipped with Intel s 32nm Atom processor platform Z2580 cloaking at 2GHz. It also features a 5-inch HD screen with 1280×720 pixels resolution, runs on Android Jelly Bean, offers an 8GB of internal memory along with a 1GB of RAM, and a 2300mAh battery. On the multimedia front, it sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED and 1-megapixel front camera. The company has not informed about the price for the phablet, however it will be released in the high-end category.
ZTE also showcased its previously announced devices, V98 tablet and Grand X IN smartphone, both of which are based on Intel chips at the event.
