With Android Wear 2.0 set to release this month, the new generation smartwatches are beginning to pave their way through to the market as well. Evan Blass, who is a trusted leakster, has shared an image, which he says comes from the company s leaked marketing material. Now that one single image does not reveal much, and Blass says the leaked promo is light on details. From what we can see, the smartwatch will feature a round dial, and look like any other analog watch. In the leaked image, the straps look like they are detachable. Now that s all this leak can tell. However, we do know that the ZTE Quartz has been rumored to come with Wi-Fi as well as 3G connectivity, allowing for data access when it’s not paired to a smartphone as well as taking calls on your wrist. The smartwatch will have the model number ZW10, as was leaked by The Android Soul, when the device was awarded a Bluetooth SIG certificate. Besides, like we mentioned before, also in line, are LG s and Huawei s smartwatches that would run the new Android Wear iteration. In fact, tomorrow is the day scheduled for the unveiling of the LG Watch Style and Watch Sport, along with of course the Android Wear 2.0 making its final debut.
It is expected that the LG Watch Sport will feature a 1.38-inch display with 480 480 pixels resolution and include 768MB of RAM. The LG Watch Style will feature a 1.2-inch 360 360 display and house 512MB of RAM. It will carry a slightly lesser resistance to water and dust with IP67 certification. It will be fuelled by a 240mAh battery. Both the smartwatches are expected to include a digital crown for navigating. However, the Sport edition will include a set of physical buttons on the side. It will further come with interchangeable straps and will be available in titanium, silver, and rose gold color choices.
