ZTE is reportedly working on a new smartphone. Dubbed ZTE V0840, the smartphone has been listed on benchmarking website Geekbench. The smartphone was recently also spotted on China’s TENAA certification website. The latest listing though reveals the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 425 processor, indicating the ZTE V0840 will be a budget smartphone. The listing also reveals it will have 3GB of RAM, and run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. According to the previous TENAA listing, the upcoming smartphone will have a 5-inch HD display, and it will be available in 16GB/32GB storage options. For photography, the smartphone will have 8-megapixel dual-rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is likely to come with a 2,500mAh battery. Besides these, the listings don t reveal anything further about the smartphone. As expected, there s no word on the pricing and availability of the smartphone.
