An unannounced ZUK-branded smartphone has made its way to Chinese certification site, TENAA revealing some key specifications of phone. When launched, this will be the fourth smartphone under ZUK brand after ZUK Z1, Z2 and Z2 Pro. By the looks of the specifications and features of this device, it seems to be targeted at the mid-range segment. The TENAA listing, spotted by Gizmochina, reveals some important specifications of the phone along with few images. At the back, there is a camera placed at the top-center and the ZUK logo at the bottom. Up front, there is a rectangular physical home button, which is expected to double up as the fingerprint scanner. On the right hand side is the power button and the volume rocker. As per listing, the upcoming ZUK phone, which bears the model number Lenovo ZUK Z2151, features dimensions of 142.9×74.5×7.68 mm and weighs 160 grams. It will feature a 5.5-inch display with full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution, 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor that is paired with 4GB of RAM. As per the listing, the smartphone will be available in two storage variants — 32GB and 64GB.
On the camera front, the smartphone will sport a 13-megapixel rear shooter with dual-tone LED flash, and for selfie lovers there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is said to be armed with a 3,000mAh battery. While there is no word on the connectivity options, the listing does reveal that that ZUK smartphone will support 4G connectivity. On the software front, the smartphone will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
Last month, Lenovo launched the ZUK Z2 in India, but rebranded it as the Lenovo Z2 Plus. The smartphone is priced at Rs 17,999 for the 32GB (3GB RAM) variant, and Rs 19,999 for the 64GB (4GB RAM) variant. It features a 5-inch full HD (1080p) display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor.
On the camera front, you get a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, electronic image stabilization (EIS) and LED flash. The smartphone also supports 4K video recording, slow motion HD (720p) recording and time-lapse video recording. Up front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera of aperture f/2.0. It is armed with a 3,500mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The smartphone supports connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. On the software front, the Z2 Plus runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
