Zync today has launched the Z605 phablet which it had announced back in December at GETIX 2013 in Dubai. The phablet come with a massive 6.5-inch display and is priced for Rs 7,999 in India. However, we feel its claim to fame would be what the company says is a 2-megapixel, wait for it, “PureView” camera! Talking of the features, the Z605 flaunts a 6.5-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and is powered by a dual-core processor ticking at 1.2GHz and paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, expandable by up to 32 GB using a microSD card.
It sports a 2-megapixel primary “PureView” camera with OIS and a VGA front-facing camera. We hope that Zync has a strong legal team as they should be expecting to hear from Nokia soon.
Connectivity features in the phablet includes 3G network support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The 2,500mAh battery housed in the phablet has been claimed to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time on 2G and merely 2.5 hours on 3G network.
It runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes pre-loaded with social networking apps like Facebook, Twitter, Viber and WhatsApp.
