Android tablets: Tablets were once considered to replace the laptops. Later, it were believed to be the bridge between smartphones and netbooks. However, popularity of the tablets have continued to decline owing to growing number of large-screen smartphones. Though IDC has predicted a growth for the tablet segment but it also notes, “Consumer market outlook appears to be stagnant but commercial segment is anticipated to witness growth especially through government and education projects.”
Selfie sticks tech that died in 2015
Selfie sticks: One trend that we are really glad didn't catch up was selfie sticks. They became immensely popular in the beginning of the year, with even the likes of Xiaomi not being able to resist launching one. But they were mostly a nuisance in public spaces and were banned from a number of places including all Disney parks, the Colloseum and most sporting arenas. Thankfully, along with selfie sticks, we are thankful that similar trends like the selfie-hat and selfie-arm never took off.
