The Infinix Zero 5G comes with a glass front and plastic frame with faux leather finish at the back. It has a triple rear camera setup at the back that stands out against the Skylight Orange back. On the right side there are volume rockers with a home screen button that comes embedded with a fingerprint sensor. On the left there is a SIM card tray and at the bottom you get a 3.5mm jack, a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille. Overall, the Infinix 5G is a good looking smartphone that is light and comfortable to use even for long durations. (Image: Shweta Ganjoo/BGR India)

Infinix Zero 5G Display

Talking about the display, the Infinix Zero 5G comes with a 6.78-inch LCD display with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, a resolution of 1080x2460 pixels, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. In experience, the phone features a decent display. The colours are on point and it offers a fairly comfortable viewing experience. What I like about the display is that it is legible even under the sun. Interestingly, the phone features support for HDR10 but not for WideVine L1 certification, which is a bit confusing. Other than that it works fine. (Image: Shweta Ganjoo/BGR India)

Infinix Zero 5G Camera

Coming to the cameras, the Infinix Zero 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP+13MP+2MP camera and 16MP front camera. In usage, the camera of the phone offers a mixed bag of performance. In bright sunlight, the Infinix Zero 5G captures crisp images with accurate colours and ample depth and details. However, in low light conditions, the phone struggles with clarity. However, the shutter speed is quite slow, which means you need to hold still for quite some time for the phone to capture a clear image. The front camera, on the other hand, captures over processed images. Thankfully, it keeps the skin tone intact. (Image: Shweta Ganjoo/BGR India)

Infinix Zero 5G Performance

In terms of performance, the Infinix Zero 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 900 processor that is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It runs the Android 11with XOS 10 skin on top. It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging technology. In usage, the phone offers a smooth performance thanks to the Dimensity 900 system-on-chip. The phone handles day-to-day grunt with ease without any signs of slowing down. However, XOS is marred by bloatware, which waters down the overall experience. The fingerprint sensor is also quick and responsive when it comes to unlocking the phone. As far as the battery is concerned, the phone easily lasts for a day in day-to-day usage. (Image: Shweta Ganjoo/BGR India)

Infinix Zero 5G Verdict

The Infinix Zero 5G is a decent smartphone when it comes to specifications especially for a phone in this range. It offers a decent performance with a good battery life. The phone also has a premium look and feel. However, the camera is a bag full of surprises and the software is loaded with bloatware, which waters down the overall experience significantly.
