JioPhone Next to launch on November 4: Here's how the smartphone looks

JioPhone Next is all set to launch on 4 November at an entry price of Rs 1,999 and the rest can be paid via easy EMI over 18/24 months. The 4G smartphone will come with a 5.45-inch touchscreen HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon QM-215 chipset and more.

JioPhone Next features a 5.45-inch touchscreen HD display that has 720 x 1440 pixels screen resolution.


JioPhone Next camera

The smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera. For selfies, it comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Jio says that the camera supports Portrait mode, night mode and themed lenses.


JioPhone Next OS

The smartphone runs on the new Pragati OS. As per the company, the smartphone will come with access to millions of apps available on the Play Store and comes with over the air updates support for new features, customization, security updates and more, which will continue to enhance the phone experience over time.


JioPhone Next battery, processor, SoC

JioPhone Next is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QM-215 chipset and offers 2GB RAM and 32GB storage with expandable storage. The smartphone is equipped with a 3500mAh battery.


JioPhone Next price and offers

The JioPhone Next is priced at Rs 6,499 in India. Jio is offering four EMI plans for buyers. The Rs 300 “Always on” plan is for 24 months while the Rs 350 plan is for 18 months. These plans will also offer 5 GB of daily data and 100 minutes for calling every month.
